The bridge Alsina connects Capital Federal and the suburbs of Buenos Aires. I used to live in the suburbs, more precisely in Lanus, and had to cross the Pompeya-Alsina bridge almost everyday. I have crossed this bridge by car or by bus more than thousand times; but I have never crossed it on foot. I don?t really know what I like about this Neo-Colonial construction, but every time I cross it, I am curious so see it more closely. Walking on the bridge can be very dangerous, but I felt the need to do it at some point. I loaded the Alpha camera and walked around Pompeya, on the bridge, underneath of it on both sides, and crossed it several times. I would do it again! |
