I started "The Camera Museum" in 1998 with just a handful of vintage cameras. My mission was and still is to share every object of the museum world wide and to complete the history of each piece. The collection has grown to over 300 cameras along with countless accessories. I have created a physical space to exhibit the cameras, see the photographs below. I am including local photographers to show their work in “The Camera Museum” space and hope to include international photographers in the near future. I am looking forward to expanding my efforts with your support, your collections, and photographs. |

In 1985 my mother gave me my first vintage camera as a good luck gesture when I began photography classes at Arizona State University. At the time, I did not know that using the old cameras would become my passion. I began photographing with the “vintage” cameras in 1988. The results were mystical. Each camera had an interesting name, well designed face plate, and sometimes an unusual color, but most importantly revealed a unique vision. Click here to see some of my work. |
